Potteric Carr Nature Reserve
NatureWalks
There are four waymarked nature walkson the Reserve, green, yellow, blue, and red, which are identifiedby coloured-topwooden posts. They range from about 2½ km for the green route to around 8 kmif you take in all four. They cover all parts of the Reserve thatare accessible to visitors and take in 14 viewing hides, a viewing screen, and the Field Centre with Low Ellers Junction café.Please do not deviate from the waymarked paths into the conservation areas, which are preservedfor the benefit of wildlife, and follow the country code.Access to the Reserve is by a valid ticket/YWT membership card and, in particular, you should not cross live railway lines without one. Please feel free to print off the walks to enable you to take them with you and hopefully guide and inform you on your walk.We hope you enjoy the walks and, maybe,we shall have a chance to hear of yourwildlife sightings.
